How to Join

        • Certifications: Copies of your fitness qualifications.

        • Resume (CV): An updated outline of your experience in the fitness industry.

        • Supporting Documents: Any additional relevant paperwork to strengthen your application.

        • Registration Fee: A $70 annual fee.

  • Fill out the Form: Complete the online application in full via the provided link.

  • Upload Documents: Attach your certifications, CV, and supporting files.

  • Review Phase: GFTU will review your documents for compliance and equivalency with their standards.

    • Note: An administrator may contact you if further clarification is needed.

3. Upon Successful Registration

If your application is approved, you will receive:

  • Confirmation Email: A formal welcome to the union.

  • Certificate of Registration: A unique certificate specifying your primary occupation and your EQF level (European Qualifications Framework).

  • Public Listing: Your name will be added to the official Directory of Members on the GFTU website.

  • Annual Renewal: Membership must be renewed every year (you will receive a reminder).

  • Lifelong Learning: You are required to complete 10 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) annually.

  • Ethics: You must strictly adhere to the GFTU Code of Ethical Practice.
